About Laura Swink
Laura's career as an artist began in her college years where she was studying as a
music major in performance as a classically trained flutist.
As a senior, she took a painting class and decided to return to school to study art and design, gaining a secondary degree in graphic design. She then took on work as a professional graphic designer working for national companies designing promotional materials and websites.
The opportunity came to quit her full time position and pursue her love of abstract artwork in 2011.
Since then she has been selling her artwork thru channels such as Pinterest and Behance, launching both her professional gallery website and her shop site here at www.LauraSwinkFineArt.com.

About the Artwork
Each piece of artwork is created on 1.5-inch gallery wrapped high-quality archival canvas (unless otherwise specified-see descriptions), this highly specialized canvas wraps around the sides of the painting and is tucked and stapled on the back where it is professionally finished. Framing is not needed (but optional) as the sides of each piece are painted to match the colors and subject. All paintings come with hanging hardware installed.
Each painting is signed by the artist and the name of the piece along with its creation date is labeled on the back. All pieces are varnished in gloss or semi-gloss to protect the surface from dust and dirt.
